Can I eat meat from the deli counter?
No. Most of this meat will have come in a packet or tin and will contain preservatives and should therefore be avoided
Can I have cottage cheese?
No. It is a dairy product which may cause inflammation and has been processed
Can I use herbs and spices?
Yes. These should be your best friend to add a variety of flavours to your foods
Can I drink fruit juices I have made at home?
No. Once you remove the pulp from fruit which provides fibre, you are left with pure fruit sugar. You are better to make a smoothie using the whole fruit (eg Nutribullet)
What if I forget to take my tablets to work?
Don't panic. Skip the dose, have your meal and extend the cleanse into Day 11 to ensure you finish all the tablets.
Can I eat between meals?
The basis of the cleanse is clean eating and you are encouraged to eat 3 regular meals a day. Try to avoid snacking but if you have to do so, choose your snacks wisely, eg an apple and some raw nuts, celery. You should find that you don't need the snacks.
Can I eat lentils and other pulses?
Yes
How often should I weigh and measure?
You only need to weigh and measure on Day 1 and Day 11. DO NOT be tempted to weigh yourself everyday as your weight will fluctuate
